MANCHESTER, N.H. —

A local company has stepped up to help local police and fire departments sanitize their vehicles amid the COVID-19 pandemic, according to WMUR Channel 9, New Hampshire.

That company is Soil-Away Cleaning and Restoration Services, a SanitizeIT Operator located in Hooksett that was looking for a chance to help first responders during the pandemic. They began offering to sanitize department’s vehicles for free.

“We’re applying a hospital grade disinfectant to the inside of their vehicles to give them a little peace of mind,” Soil-Away Cleaning COO Joshua Solloway said.

The product is Aseptic Plus+ distributed by Aseptic Health.

The company, busy with its normal operation, does this work on the side. They are helping so many departments they need a big board to keep the schedules straight. The list keeps growing every day.

“This just exemplifies that this whole community, everybody’s in it together,” Manchester Fire Department District Chief Mike Gamache said. “They teamed up with first responders, police and fire to help sanitize our vehicles and to keep our employees safe, so we can continue to provide essential services.”

The sanitizing is done by using a fogger and takes about five to 10 minutes to disinfect the interior of a vehicle from top to bottom, the product is safe on electronics.

“Hopefully this is done sooner than later so we can all go back to normal,” Solloway said. “But we want to be there to service the first responders as long as they need it.”

Solloway said they service a department’s entire fleet, and then continue as needed. So, if someone has a potential exposure to the virus, they can bring the vehicle in for treatment.

About Aseptic Health and Aseptic Plus+

Nashville-based Aseptic Health is a clean solutions provider to commercial, residential and healthcare facilities and professional cleaning companies. Amid increasing concerns of microorganism-laden, unhealthy facilities, Aseptic Health is setting a new industry standard for Clinically Clean®, healthy facilities.

The company’s exclusive Aseptic Plus+ product is an EPA-registered[1] hospital-grade disinfectant which is also NSF-certified safe for food contact surfaces. Aseptic Plus+ kills more than 30 bacteria, viruses and pathogens including MRSA, Pseudomonas, E. coli, Listeria, Legionella, Norovirus, Rotavirus, and canine and feline coronaviruses. The solution also eliminates odors, allergens and mold and mildew, and is an effective deodorizer.

Aseptic Plus+ is available through its authorized distributors and SanitizeIT operators in the US. Operators use electrostatic and ULV foggers to deliver the fragrance-free product into the air, creating a fine mist that settles on all sides of hard and soft surfaces. The product and disinfecting protocols are used in facilities from 1,000 to one million square feet, including office buildings, distribution facilities, schools, hospitals, correctional facilities, restaurants, gyms, veterinary hospitals and homes. And, now, vehicle decontamination sites.
