Aseptic Health has released SoRite DECON, a new decontaminant that destroys narcotics like fentanyl, xylazine, and heroin in just 60 seconds. NASHVILLE, TN (PRWEB) MAY 24, 2023

Aseptic Health LLC, a renowned provider of innovative products for public safety, announces SoRite DECON, a new decontaminant that destroys narcotics like fentanyl, xylazine, and heroin in just 60 seconds. Unlike other decontaminants, SoRite DECON has been tested and verified to eradicate, not just neutralize, fentanyl at a third-party, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registered laboratory.

Fentanyl poisoning is now the leading cause of death for young adults in the United States, responsible for more than 64,000 deaths per year. The skyrocketing death toll is driven largely by illicit fentanyl, which is being laced into counterfeit pills and street drugs at alarming rates across the nation. First responders to the scene of fentanyl deaths are putting themselves at risk of exposure as just a few grains of ingested fentanyl through breathing can result in fatality. In response to this national epidemic, Aseptic Health LLC created SoRite DECON, a patent-pending decontaminant that destroys organic compounds and specifically narcotics like fentanyl, xylazine (also known as “tranq” or “zombie drug”) and heroin in just 60 seconds.

“During this time of crisis, we are committed to providing the first responders, law enforcement and the general public with innovative products that can help eradicate the opioid epidemic and keep them safe. SoRite DECON was developed in response to the increasing demand for a safe and effective solution that can quickly destroy narcotics without the need for additional protective equipment. We are proud to offer this product that can not only protect public safety respondents, but also their gear and ensure their safety during narcotic investigations,” said Autumn Ryan, CEO of Aseptic Health LLC.

In just a few short weeks since its introduction, Aseptic Health has been getting calls from first responders who want to know more about the product, its safety and efficacy. Chris Ciolini, a Fire Battalion Chief at The Village of Franklin Park, as well as Emergency Operations Manager at Hazchem Environmental, gets several fentanyl and xylazine remediation jobs a month. “SoRite DECON is ready to use. There is no mixing of different chemicals and it is fast acting. I can just grab it and go which makes life a whole lot easier while under pressure and lives are on the line”. Mr. Ciolini went on to discuss his greatest concerns on scene when handling fentanyl and xylazine – “It can be hard to determine where actual contamination is when powder forms have gone airborne. If the product goes airborne, it becomes easier to enter the body through inhalation, the quickest route of exposure.”

The formula is composed of a potent oxidizing agent, Sodium Chlorite. The formula is non-corrosive, non-reactive, non-caustic, non-flammable and has a pH of 9.2 which is the same as baking soda. It is safe on skin and eliminates odors making SoRite DECON ideal for investigating narcotic crimes and ensuring the safety of officers and gear. The formula does not include chlorine, parabens, phosphates, harsh abrasives, sulfates, phthalates or VOC’s.

SoRite DECON has been tested and verified to eradicate, not neutralize, fentanyl at a third-party, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) approved laboratory. The DEA recently put out a public safety alert in regard to the widespread threat from fentanyl mixed with xylazine. Xylazine is a powerful sedative that can make the deadly drug threat of fentanyl even worse. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration is warning the American public of a sharp increase in the trafficking of fentanyl mixed with xylazine.

For emergency responders, SoRite DECON provides a quick and safe response without the need for protective equipment. SoRite DECON is available for purchase now. For more information, please visit https://soritedecon.com.
