Growhouses
In growhouses much of the equipment is adversely affected by corrosive cleaners, such as bleach, and also the plants can be affected. Aseptic Health’s testing with sodium chlorite in grow houses showed no noticeable morphophysiological and content changes in treated plants up to the highest concentration of Sodium Chlorite applied in the study as compared to the control plants.
Within the limits of this study, it was concluded that application of Sodium Chlorite is found to be safe for plants’ health up to 4000ppm.
The favorability of these tests has led us to continue testing in growhouses in Oklahoma on the effectiveness of our solution for disinfecting holding tanks, environmental cleaning and misting plants as an effective treatment for powdery mildew and Aspergillus niger.
